Xcaliber Dog Training

We couldn’t be happier with the results of our dogs’ three-week obedience training! Our one-year-old English Springer Spaniels came home happier, more confident, and so much better behaved. Having them know “Place” and “stay” when guests come over is wonderful!! Their recall has improved tremendously, and their overall obedience has exceeded our expectations. Before training, walking them on a leash was nearly impossible as they pulled constantly and didn’t listen. Now they’re walking calmly by our side and responding to commands so much better. The best part is they’re still the same sweet, loving dogs we adore, just much more manageable. We know consistency and continued practice are key, and we’re excited to keep building on everything they’ve learned. We truly believe they’re well on their way to being amazing companions. Before training, Finnley had trouble staying focused, excessive barking and would get easily distracted, and unpredictable but now he is so much more attentive, responsive, and eager to listen. Mitch and Xcaliber Dog Training were absolutely phenomenal. We brought him a very reactive hound with some pretty unique behavioral quirks and Mitch was able to quickly assess it all and develop a custom training plan specifically for our needs. Also very flexible with scheduling and very willing to spend all the time needed to get your pup behaving just how you want! Our six month old dog, Beans, did a three week board and train program and came back a well mannered young gentleman. He learned some great impulse control skills as well as obedience during his time with Xcaliber. We really appreciated the video updates we received from Michael along the way. The communication and explanation behind the training was extremely helpful in understanding how to best continue working with Beans.
