Val is a godsend! I came to her with a young pup that was fearful of people and not handler focused which can be a scary situation in public. Through a mixture of day boards, overnights, one and one training, and constant messaging back and forth, I now have a stable confident dog that looks to me for direction before reacting. I cannot express in words how important that is with young strong dogs! Beyond her impeccable work with the dogs she's more than willing to explain why something works so that you can understand what's really going on between your dog and their environment. I have a constantly shifting unreliable schedule and Val has gone out of her way to get my dog in for training on my available days and times even if it's not the most convenient for her! I'm super grateful to have found someone so knowledgeable that is always willing to go the extra mile for her clients!

Valentina is great. You can tell this is more than a job to her. She really cared about our dog and took the time to make sure we understood the theory behind the training so that we could be good trainers for our dog as well. We did board and train with her and since the weather was poor and she couldn’t go outside an do the training she wanted, she kept our dog a few extra days, free of charge, to make sure we got our money’s worth. We 100% recommend her.

A couple of years ago I was looking for something new for my agility dog to try as she recovered from an injury. Nosework was the thing and luckily I found Valentina. Both of my girls love scent detection. They love class and competing. The way Valentina teaches the sport makes everything natural for the dogs. They have fun from day one and the confidence they build transfers to every day life.
