X Learning K9s

I adopted my dog Riley from a family that no longer wanted him and they were...less than forthcoming about their reasons for rehoming him. When I got him home, Riley had very pronounced guarding tendencies (especially versus our other dog), would bark and lunge at other people, dogs, and cars, and would bark and growl incessantly whenever someone new came into the house. I was at my wits end and several trainers had recommended giving him up. Valentina met him and in under an hour had bonded with Riley and showed me that he could be the sweet dog with other people that he was with me. Valentina had him for 5 weeks and made a HUGE difference. I'm still learning his cues and working through my follow up appointments, but I'm already more confident in taking him places and having people over, and know how to build a better future for both of us. Valentina has helped me to manage my expectations for Riley, as well as set reasonable expectations for his behavior. She is very responsive to owners and tells it like it is. She is very warm with Riley and he adores her.

I am beyond grateful for Val. I took my anxious and reactive dog to her in hopes of helping my dog live a life with less fear and more confidence. After 5 weeks of board and train, my dog is so much more confident out in the world. Not only is she more confident, but I am much more confident as well with the training I have received from her; I know that with the training my dog has received from Val and by me keeping up with her training by using the education I have been given from her, my pup will live a happy and successful life. Val is very professional; she helped me gain a realistic expectation when it came to my dog's personality and her training. Having a really close bond with my dog, especially with her being my emotional support animal, initially it was really scary to leave her with a perfect stranger. After my consultation, that fear went away. I still missed my dog when I dropped her off, however, I knew she was safe and in the best hands possible. Val has such a wonderful personality; you can tell she is very passionate about what she does, and she has a love for these dogs that she trains and cares for. My dog and I have absolutely adored working with her. I will happily, and without any reservations whatsoever, recommend Val with X Learning K9's to anyone and everyone.
