I had the pleasure of having my Giant Scnhauzer Gordan work and train with Paula and Candace. They provided quality training for my puppy and helped get some of the initial commands set in stone for him to thrive and reduce some of the frustrations I was dealing with, (lunging at people on bikes while walking, leave it commands and socialization exposure.) Looking back this has increased the bond I've had with my dog and has provided him with a solid foundation in his development. Candace is an incredible trainer! She’s patient, encouraging, and truly takes the time to understand both you and your dogs’ individual needs. I brought my two large dogs—a German Shepherd/Husky mix and a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix—for obedience training and help with leash reactivity. Thanks to Candace’s guidance, I now feel confident walking both of my 70-pound dogs together. The difference in their behavior is amazing! I highly recommend Wyoming K-9 Training Academy to anyone looking for expert, compassionate dog training.

For any dog parent that has a reactive dog like our Tibetan Mastiff Cane Corso we can’t recommend Wyoming K-9 Academy enough! It had been a while since we boarded Rex with them for their month long training program and we were worried how he would do with them but how quickly they got him to warm up to them again is beyond impressive. They’re so knowledgeable and comfortable working with reactive dogs. We highly recommend them and super grateful we can continue to board Rex with them.

Miracles happen. Both of my dogs were reactive and horrible pullers on our daily walks. They had also been recently attacked by a pitbull while out on a walk. It is obvious that Paula tunes into behaviors and personalities and patiently addresses those issues. I had tried every collar and leash available and various training tips. Paula was able to provide the best solution and easy to follow training tips. Walks are much, much more enjoyable now. Highly recommend.
