Veterinarian-endorsed and recommended daycare, training, and puppy parties! I am a fear-free certified veterinarian at a nearby (5 mins away) clinic and have been recommending Woof’s for a long time. Now I have a puppy who has been going to daycare and training at Woof’s and I cannot recommend them enough!! DAYCARE: I was extremely nervous about sending him to daycare because I didn’t want him to learn bad habits and/or become overstimulated. Their daycare PLUS program means it’s a lot more than just running around all day. The fact that their trainers are involved with daycare is AMAZING, makes it so much more trustworthy, and my pup gets enrichment too! Physical *and* mental exercise. TRAINING: Just from what I already knew, I knew they were great. But meeting them - they’re truly fabulous! Entirely positive reinforcement based, the only science based and proven training method. We’re in Carrie’s puppy class and could not recommend it more! She breaks everything down so well and really knows deep into training. PUPPY PARTIES: I highly (!!!!) recommend them for all puppies. There’s a very high trainer-to-puppy ratio, which is SO important at such a young age when they really know nothing about life much less appropriate social interactions. A very safe and controlled environment for absolutely essential puppy play and socialization! Overall I truly cannot recommend Woof’s enough. While the facility isn’t *new* or trendy, don’t judge a book by its cover: the care is truly top-notch! And Decatur absolutely LOVES it there!

I was introduced to Woofs by a neighbor right before we got our puppy. I enrolled our lab, Ruby, in puppy kindergarten and soon after we started kindergarten I also enrolled her in puppy obedience. Ruby, along with my boyfriend and I, have been loving the classes! Woofs provides a great social environment for Ruby that allows her to learn from both us and the trainers in an appropriate manner. During the classes, my boyfriend and I enjoy working with Ruby, as well as learning more about how we can be good dog parents and foster good habits to set her up for success. We have been extremely pleased with the "coursework" and find that it is explained easily enough to be practiced at home and on our time. We also appreciate the attention from the trainers. We've worked with Laura, Sarah, and now Carrie and we truly enjoy our interactions with them and how much respect they have for us as pet parents and our pup as a student ready to learn. We are so thankful for Woofs!

I can’t describe how great the puppy party classes were for my dog! I took him each week from about 10-16 weeks and he had a blast and learned how to play safely and appropriately with other dogs. The trainers are very hands-on and are ready to step in if needed but really let the dogs learn from each other. I was nervous that my dog wouldn’t come out of his shell when I first brought him home, but he slowly developed confidence after coming to the classes and now loves playing with other dogs — and knows to respect others’ boundaries too. Totally worth the money if you have a new puppy!
