I found Jose while searching for someone truly capable of caring for and training a dog with a more aggressive and reactive nature. From the beginning, I knew this decision mattered deeply. George isn’t an easy dog, and finding the right person to trust him with for extended periods of time felt critical. Jose is truly a dog whisperer. He has an incredibly calm, grounded presence paired with a rare ability to compassionately discipline and guide dogs. His home and farmland are nothing short of an oasis - thoughtfully created to help dogs feel safe, balanced, and connected to nature. George has benefited immensely from being in an environment where he can decompress, explore, and slowly acclimate to the animals and rhythms of Colorado life. Beyond his skill with dogs, Jose’s communication is exceptional. He is professional, clear, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure I feel supported, not just while George is with him, but even afterward. I never feel left in the dark, and that level of care and responsibility means everything when you’re entrusting someone with a dog you love.
