Woof Wise Dog Training

Woofwise Dog Training has changed mine and my dog’s life! My puppy came to me from a local shelter and she had many fears - boxes, suitcases, loud noises, and all men. I started classes with Woofwise to gently introduce her to new people in a calm and positive environment to boost her confidence. All of the trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They are gentle with my pup and allow us to take things at her pace. She still has some uncertainties but now runs into Woofwise and is open to meeting new people, including men, because she has built a positive association from her many positive and fun experiences at Woofwise! Thank you so much for creating a positive, gentle, and fun environment to help my pup grow her confidence and overcome her fears! Both of us are so grateful.

We love Woof Wise, especially Alisa! We did 6 weeks of the puppy primer class with our collie puppy (the class is 4 weeks long but they were very accommodating and let us drop in for 2 classes before ours started), and then did a private lesson for our adult dog. The classes are a good price and we've already booked our next round of puppy classes and will take our adult in when a new confidence class starts! They only use positive reinforcement methods which I feel like is hard to find in Cleveland where most places use at least some forms of aversive training methods (which we don't want to do), they've clearly paid attention to the latest findings in dog behavior research. They do a really good job of explaining what to look for when training, and do a great job with the puppies. You can tell that they really care about each dog that comes into the class. We will definitely keep coming back for more classes!
