Woof Wise Dog Training

In short - 100% delighted with Woofwise and their truly positive approach! In detail: I adopted my dog knowing she had a couple issues. I bought books on dog training, watched some videos, and took her to a group obedience class at another well-known facility (a huge disappointment - falsely advertised as positive training). I eventually got a referral to Woofwise through my vet and was delighted with my in-home session with Chris. Before the session I returned a very detailed questionnaire, so my paid session was able to be very targeted, efficient, and effective. I wanted help with 1 specific issue (aggression toward cat). Chris observed the training I was doing, and demonstrated 7 additional behaviors to train. Although I hadn't thought of these before, I could immediately see the benefit. She was generous with her time, very flexible, and 100% positive. I felt entirely comfortable with her, her expertise, and her approach (in contrast to the trainers at the other facility). She followed up the visit with detailed written instructions on each behavior (and I expect videos shortly). I wholeheartedly recommend Chris and Woofwise to anyone who needs help with their dog and wants to use positive methods. I think that for what is offered, private in-home training is a great value, and I'm very grateful and happy to know Woofwise - professional, expert, and kind - is available when we need help in the future.
