September 20, 2025 my family and I adopted a one year-old puppy from Palm Beach County animal care control We named him Mikey . PBACC told us that Mikey had been found in the streets when he was six months old and then had spent Six months at the shelter that he had never known a home and he had only known the streets and the shelter. They told us that he is an energetic player on the puppy playground. We adopted Mikey we brought him home we have two other dogs a Boston terrier and a poodle ,the poodle is three the Boston terrier is two we quickly realized that Mikey was buck wild but not mean or aggressive just wild he was so wild to the point that we almost considered returning him but we loved him so we didn’t . Instead I did my research and I came upon Woof Dogs I did my research the reviews were wonderful we made an appointment to come out and meet with Shai my husband and I were out at ease immediately during our meeting. We explained to Shai that even though we had only had Mikey for a couple of weeks that his behavior was extremely disruptive to our household that he was an intelligent dog and we saw a potential in him. Shai Met with Mikey for a brief period of time during our meeting he too saw potential in Mikey so we signed up for six weeks of in-home training. Our trainer came to our house once a week for six weeks. Mikey‘s behavior dramatically changed over the six weeks we learned how to have reasonable expectations for Mikey how to train him to fit into the pack here in our home to listen to calm down and now here we are nearly 4 months later and Mikey is a happy thriving dog. He still has his wild moments but because we were taught and Mikey was taught how to handle those situations they are no longer disruptive or destructive. I highly recommend Shai and Woof Dog training whether it’s in your home or at the facility this training was a lifesaver for our family and for Mikey
