Marty is a miracle worker! We brought our 7 month old GSD (Bjorn) to him due to some behavior issues, particularly his inability to be around other dogs (high energy, aggressive, extreme barking, etc.). It was the best decision me and my wife could have made. Marty made Bjorn well behaved, obedient, and completely safe to take around other dogs in public. Marty not only trains the dog, but also invests deeply in training the owners in how to maintain the training and discipline. He builds a strong relationship with each dog and genuinely cares about their training progress.I highly recommend his service and wouldn’t consider another dog trainer in Central Ohio!

Marty came highly recommended from a family friend who used him to train their dog. From the initial contact, Marty was very informative and responsive to our questions. Penny, our 8 month old mini goldendoodle, displayed typical bad puppy behavior and we were looking to break her bad habits and learn obedience commands on and off leash. Marty came to our house to do an initial consult with Penny to access her prior to her formal training. We decided to send her to Marty for a 2 week board and train while we were on vacation. Marty kept in constant contact with us through text, photos, and videos updating us with Penny's progress. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately. After two weeks, Marty came to our house to return Penny to us. While at our house, he explained the exact training that Penny received and demonstrated all the commands she learned, including heel, sit, down, place, come, out, and off. I might be missing a few but these are the ones that come to my mind immediately. Marty then took the time to have me perform these commands with Penny and instructed me on the proper way to do it so Penny would understand. I asked several questions throughout the process and Marty was more than happy to answer and explain further. We could not be happier with the training process and with Marty. I highly recommend Marty if you are looking for a dog trainer. Now only if we can continue to build on the training foundation that Marty built with Penny. Thanks again Marty, we really appreciate it!
