FirstBarkMarty has helped me and my 1 year old dog work through some bad habits and leash reactivity with patience and clarity. We still have a lot of work to do, but at this point I have a new hope that he will get my puppy and I on the same page and cut down the embarrassing outbursts and anxiety around other dogs. We had our 11 month old American Bulldog trained at Woodside K9 and I highly recommend their services. Marty's knowledge and care were evident throughout the whole process. Extremely happy with how he handled Arlo and the end result.

Before her training I could barely take her around the block because she would pull and pull. Now I can take her for much longer walks that we both enjoy. The best part is that now she can actually relax when we’re at home and she doesn’t always get into things so I can put her on her place and do school work without having to worry what she might be doing. I don’t have enough nice things to say about Marty and all the things he’s done for me and Lilah. If you’re looking for a trainer you can stop the search, Marty’s your guy!

I can’t say enough good things about Marty and Woodside_K9. We have a challenging but smart 10 month golden retriever who basically had zero foundation (or care) for what was right and wrong. Outside house training and learning to sit and shake for a treat he was essentially a wild animal. We approached Marty abt his 2 week board an train program. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Milo now has a strong foundation of knowing right from wrong and in 2 short weeks has been given a baseline to be the family dog we hoped he would be. We HIGHLY recommend Marty. He’s honest, straight forward, and has a very good understanding of how to train a dog.

Our 1.5 year old bernedoodle, Winston just finished the two-week board and train program, and the difference is amazing. Marty was incredibly kind, communicative, and professional throughout the entire process. He kept us updated with photos and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Winston came home with better house manners and is noticeably calmer on walks, which has made such a difference in our day-to-day life. Marty also took the time to help us learn how to reinforce Winston’s training at home, which we really appreciated. We’re so glad we chose Woodside K9 and would highly recommend Marty to anyone looking for effective training who truly cares about dogs and their families!
