Woodland Kennel

Dana and Geoffrey were wonderful people and communicated very well throughout the process of us choosing a new member for our family! On puppy pick up day, both of our boys 5 and 6 at the time(may 2025), came with us to pick the puppy. Dana and Geoffrey explained the importance of crate training and went through all the steps to make sure our puppy was set up for success! The boys had ample time to pick the puppy and were so happy. Our gorgeous girl is almost 6months old and so loved by our family. Thank you woodland kennels for a wonderful experience and an amazing pup!!

We got our English Springer Spaniel from Woodland Kennels and we could not happier. Brodie has been the best dog from the day we got him. Easily trained, great with other dogs, kids and strangers. brodie loves to go for hikes, swim and is great on a leash too. We followed some simple training instructions from Geoff when we first got him and he learned quickly! We have also used Woodland Kennels for boarding when away on vacation and we feel confident Brodie had the best time ever and was well taken care of. I just put down a deposit on our third spaniel from Woodland Kennel. I suppose that says it all. Each dog has had the absolute best temperament—loving, gentle, and so well-adjusted from day one. We got our first when my daughter was just a toddler, our second when the second was a toddler. Countless play dates and chaos and never once did I have concern about them being around a bunch of loud children. They’re incredibly smart and eager to learn, and just pure velcro which is what we love about the breed. They’ve also been incredibly healthy and fit, which speaks volumes about the quality and care behind this breeder. We can’t thank Geoff and Dana enough for our 2 and soon to be 3 mushes. Life just wouldn’t be the same without them.

Years ago, we went through our Labrador era, and with the passing of our pit mix last summer, we decided to bring a lab back into our lives. We did our research and decided on Woodland for our puppy. We knew it was "meant to be" that we wanted a yellow male and their recent litter of 10 puppies had just one yellow male---we knew he was ours. From initial contact to keeping in touch after we picked him up in January, Geoffrey and his wife have been professional and clearly experts in proper breeding and loving of labradors. We named the puppy Clark (Kent) since he was a gift to my husband who has been Superman during his cancer treatments the last three years. Being a lab, of course, he is also part Clark Griswald (from National lampoon's Vacation :-) The best aspects of Clark, now 9 months old, is that he is super smart and a simply magnificent-looking dog. The facilities are top notch and your dog(s) will train in comfort and cleanliness as he works to getting them precisely to where you want them to be amd what he can pull out of them. Geoff is clear at understanding specifically what you as the owner want out of your dog and is clear at explaining his thoughts and expectations of what he can achieve in them. From obedience training to field training your dog will come out of woodland kennels above your expectations.
