Positive Reinforcement & How We Train Our training program is based on the effective and scientifically-proven positive reinforcement method. This means we use food, play, clickers, and life rewards (we like to say that positive isn’t permissive!), which is just as important as what we don’t use: side-effect-causing punishment methods. We will help you reach your goals faster and more efficiently through our wide variety of group classes and private instruction with flexible scheduling! We train in-home, on-location and at our 12,000 sq ft dedicated facility.

I highly recommend wonderdogs! I have been taking my 5 month old chihuahua puppy here for puppy classes, we have only been to two classes and I can already see so much improvement! Stuart is very wary of new people and situations and has some leash and barrier reactivity, and I was pretty nervous to see how he was going to do in a puppy class where everyone was a lot more outgoing than he was, his first class was a bit rough with him barking at the other dogs and being a bit much, but our trainer Suzanne helped us so much! Our second class was significantly better and Stuart was able to play with another puppy without issue. She is a very knowledgeable trainer and has helped me with Stuart’s reactivity so much already, she is very understanding and patient and takes the time to help explain things to me and how I can improve to make things better for Stuart. I’m very excited to see how the rest of our classes go and how much we can improve!

The Wonder Dogs instructors are all credentialed and very knowledgeable about dog behavior. Their training philosophy is about positive behavior modification and the dogs benefit accordingly. Of course, most of the training takes place at home and our dog has made significant gains.
