Wolfman's Canines

I highly recommend Wolfman’s Canines training program! We brought our 4-month-old puppy, Winnie, to his 4-week board and train program with the goal of improving her crate training, loose leash walking fundamentals, and general puppy manners. From the start, Walter was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to Winnie’s needs, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about the success of each dog he works with. In addition to her training goals, Walter also helped Winnie with crucial socialization skills, both with other dogs and people. It was amazing to see her become more comfortable in new environments and with new faces. Not only did Walter address all our specific goals, but he also took the time to teach us how to continue reinforcing these skills at home. The three follow-up sessions were invaluable, as they gave us the chance to see Winnie’s progress firsthand and learn how to maintain her training. Winnie is now a much more confident, well-behaved pup, and we’re so grateful for Walter’s expertise. If you’re looking for a trainer who is patient, skilled, and truly cares about the dogs he works with, look no further!

We can’t say enough great things about Wolfman’s Canines! Due to my golden retriever’s rough start in life (rescued from a puppy mill, malnourished, had drug-resistant giardia), he had a good deal of anxiety and fear. We would struggle getting in/out of vehicles and could barely take a walk around our own yard. Working with Walter changed all of that. We can now take trips with ease, go on walks around the neighborhood, and visit with friends/family in their homes. Training with Walter was easy, well-paced, and built specifically for my pup. We’ve come a long way, and we can’t thank Wolfman’s enough!

We had Juniper attend the 10 day board and train and several 1-1 sessions. She has since increased her recall ability, sleeping in her crate throughout the night, and increased ability to listen to her name. She loves going to visit Walter and the rest of the pack. I would highly recommend anyone to complete training with Walter, he is very knowledgeable and provides effective positive training strategies that work!
