Speaking to Courtney was a big disappointment. “Any age, any breed, any issue” - yet, he is not able to help me. He has his reasons and I understand that, but the way he handled the situation and our phone call was very uninviting. His ego got in the way of communicating in a professional matter. He was impatient, rude, and unpleasant. Courtney said it would be impossible to find someone who could help my pup and I, and thankfully he was wrong.

When I contacted Courtney he was very responsive. I explained our need with our dog and fortunate for us he was able to take our dog within a few days. This was very convenient for us. Courtney was the trainer for our dog and was very communicative while our dog was with him for four weeks. Currently, we are in the human training stage, learning to communicate and command the dog as he was trained. We are working daily with our dog and doing our best to follow through on the training. We are beyond pleased with the progress we have seen and experienced thus far. We have realistic expectations with our dog and ourselves. Courtney and his team are amazing and we highly recommend. I highly recommend sending your dog to Ed for any kind of training!!!! My husband and I adopted a female Vizla mix who spent a month with Ed. Her original owner was unable to keep her and sent her to Ed before she came to my home. We received pictures, videos, and updates on her progress throughout her time in training. Ed spent almost two hours with me when he delivered her after the four weeks of training. He explained/reviewed techniques to continue to use with her and answered my numerous questions. When I brought her home, I followed Ed’s instructions and she has transitioned so well. She listens, easy to correct, and is so sweet. Ed has been easy to contact and provided excellent recommendations for treats, food, leashes, etc. I truly believe her time with Ed and his training completely changed the course of her life. If you are considering sending your dog for training - Do It!!!

I have the highest respect for Courtney and his team. Our Daisy was extremely aggressive to outsiders and very protective of our family. We first made contact with Courtney during the being of COVID. He was wonderful. He came to our house and got us started with some basics. After life became more normal again Daisy went to "summer camp". Less than a week into training Daisy scratched her eye pretty deeply with a dew claw. Courtney and his team took such good care of our baby. They got her into a vet right away and they stayed in constant contact with us. Together we made the decision that Daisy need to be home while we dealt with her eye. Partly because of her aggression and partly because of the extent of the injury it was a long process. The Wolfhaus team kept in contact to check on Daisy throughout. After Daisy healed, she again set out to go to "camp". She was still aggressive toward everyone at first. Soon she settled into a routine with the pack. I especially want to compliment Ali, for all the extra work she did with Daisy. Daisy has come home still lovable and goofy, however she now has proper manners. The follow up instructions and communication has been phenomenal. Our neighbors are even complimenting her behavior. As a family we have some challenges, my guy is in a wheelchair when he walks Daisy. Courtney has taken extra time to create specific training for Daisy and us, to accommodate this and other challenges we put before him. I can't think of enough words of thanks and praise for this fabulous team of trainers!

Working with Courtney gave me a better understanding of my dog, and myself. His training is focused, clear, and patient. I learned about dog behavior and gained simple verbal and physical communication tools that immediately improved our relationship - and life! From our initial conversation, I immediately trusted Courtney's depth of sensitivity to my dog’s needs and nature. He asked me questions to gauge what type of person I was, as he wanted to make sure my expectations of my dog were realistic — My dog, Har, lived through a heck of a lot of trauma prior to adoption, and had poorly healed physical injuries which left him in a constant state of tension. Courtney was aware of Har’s potential to feel pain, as well as his eagerness to please me, and he refused to do anything that would push Har beyond his physical limits. Working with Courtney was exactly what we needed. I was surprised by the effectiveness of a few simple commands, and how training success simply boils down to my own ability to be consistent and clear, and persevere. After only a handful of training sessions, and consistent practice at home, Har and I are enjoying a life with less anxiety and more freedom and relaxation overall.
