Wolf Moon Dogs

I’m so happy I took my crazy little pit mix to Wolf Moon Dogs. Alana understood Gigi right away, and her holistic approach to create a calmer state of mind has done wonders for my furry bundle of energy. Gigi used to choose when to obey certain commands (like recall), and now she almost always responds appropriately. When I first rescued Gigi, she was recovering from a dog attacking her and had major dog reactivity issues. Her dog reactivity is much reduced now, and Alana is quick to respond to my many questions and provide more tips even weeks after Gigi’s stay with her. I have also learned from many of Alana’s tips on Instagram. Alana is quite the professional and very helpful. Gigi’s board and train at Wolf Moon Dogs was a very wise investment!!

I highly recommend Alana to train your dog! She has helped our shelter Wicomico Humane so much with board and training our dogs and making sure our adopted dogs are successful. She is a dog whisperer and your dog will have a calm state of mind. She works on things like place command, structured walks, how to behave in a house and public, how to appropriately interact with dogs and more. If you take your dog here, you will be amazed with the amount of growth in a short amount of time. Very easy to work with, knowledgeable with her craft, and great information/tips to follow on Instagram.

Our family picked out Bob after the loss of our unicorn dog Shelby Rose. He was great the first week, but then the crazy started to show. He was food aggressive, impossible to walk and used his mouth in every situation. He was a nervous wreck about every sound and even his own reflection. Wolfmoondogs saved the day with the best trainer ever even!!! She established boundaries immediately and helped us understand there inherent importance. Bob is a new man. I should say he is stripped of all the crusty bits and his warmth is shining bright. I can walk him with ease and I trust him completely. This was truly the best experience for our entire family. We highly recommend getting all dogs trained!!! I only wish I had done it sooner.

I adopted my dog in January of 2020, the shelter told me he had at least 2 owners before me, possibly 3. He kept ending up in the shelter because he would nip if anyone got close to him. I remember calling Alana in tears because I couldn’t get a collar on him to take him out. She was so patient and helpful, she introduced us to different tools to help make life easier. She helped us build trust with each other, before I knew it Boyd was a very loving when it came to me. He still had issues when people would approach him. Alana taught me to be an advocate for him, and that helped Boyd trust me even more. Here we are two years later and I could not be happier with Boyd in my life. He is thriving!!! Thank you Alana!!!

I had my 3.5 year old French Bulldog spend 3 weeks with Alana for a board and train. At the time she was recovering from an minor injury and Alana took AMAZING extra great care during her training. We were working on her obedience, traveling in the car and manners with other dogs. The first thing I noticed when I brought her home 6 months ago was her calmer state of mind. Her eye contact with me to be the leader and her ability to mind her business when we were out and about was incredible and made time with her so much more enjoyable for US BOTH. She is an excellent traveler. I don't hear a peep from her on 4 hour car rides. She's happily snoozing in a relaxed state instead of panting. She never rushes out the door, but sits and waits for me to lead. I feel so much closer and like her calmer state of mind will add years on to her life. Alana was in communication daily and has responded to follow up even after her job was done. I typically am showing Alana how proud I am with follow up and praise for her job well done. Grateful to know this loving soulful dog trainer. Thank you Alana
