Winnabow K9 was absolutely amazing to work with! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! We started communication with Lora! She listened to all our concerns and was very transparent and very helpful with what type of training would be best for our dog. Before training our dog was not a productive member of our family! We were struggling to train him and get him to listen! He was starting to try to over power our 6 year old and show some aggression towards our other dogs. We were on the verge of having to give him back but we didn’t want to give up on him so we decided to have him do professional training! Lora put us in touch with one of her trainers, Morgan. Morgan was absolutely AMAZING! When she came to pick up our dog she listened to all my concerns and validated them! She kept us up to date the whole time our dog was away and answered any questions we had! She told us what all she was working on with him and how he was doing with the training. She posted updates on social media and sent us photos so we still got to see our dog while he was away! When she dropped off our dog at the end of the 4 weeks she explained EVERYTHING in great detail to my husband and I! She made sure we both understood everything and were comfortable with the new commands and working with our dog before she left. Even after she left she sent us everything we went over at drop off so we wouldn’t forget! I love that their help doesn’t stop when training ends! If I have questions or concerns I can always reach out to Lora or Morgan! I can’t say enough great things about Lora and Morgan and I HIGHLY recommend Winnabow K9 to anybody who needs help training their dogs! Im already looking into getting our other dog into training just as a refresher on manners!

I can’t recommend Winnabow enough! From start to finish, the communication and care was incredible. When I first filled out an inquiry form about getting my dog Honey (75 lb 1 year old HYPER golden retriever) trained, Lora responded immediately and scheduled a phone call to learn more about my goals. She was so helpful and encouraging as she listened to the issues I was having and assured me these could be addressed through their 3 week on/off leash training program. My main goals were to improve Honey’s basic obedience, with an emphasis on recall, to be able to take her out in public without getting pulled around, and to have more stability at home when I need her to “chill” and not jump all over people/the counter. It was important to me for Honey to be trained in an “in home” setting that mimicked how she lives with me, and Winnabow was perfect for that. No outdoor kennels, and not a ton of dogs being trained at once! They have a few dogs at a time trained in home and that live alongside each other and are treated like pets. That was exactly what I was looking for. I was nervous to send my baby off for 3 weeks but Morgan assured me I could text and check on her any time. However, I rarely needed to because Morgan shared updates so often that put my mind at ease! Morgan was an incredible communicator, I received updates and videos every other day, and it was amazing to watch the progress! I loved seeing Honey practice her skills but I also loved the updates that showed her enjoying herself. This training program has room for fun (splash pad, running outside with other dogs, etc), and it was easy to see Honey was happy. When Morgan dropped Honey back off with us, she showcased Honey’s new skills and it brought tears to my eyes to witness my girl being so good! These obedience skills will literally be life changing for us! Morgan gave us a thorough lesson on how to continue our training with Honey and answered all of our questions, and continued to answer questions that came up later when I texted her! So far we have practiced “place” while guests are over, and while we eating meals (no more jumping on the counter or on others or begging for food!), and we’ve gone on peaceful walks where she “heels” right by our side, no more pulling! No more fear of going out in public and we can enjoy doing life with Honey! I’m so grateful for Winnabow and HIGHLY recommend them for any dog training needs!!! Thank you Morgan!!!

Board and Train with Lora at Winnabow K9 was exactly what my Boxer needed. Lora is so kind, so professional, so knowledgeable, so attentive, so responsive, so thorough, and so effective as a trainer. Ziggy was such a lunger on his leash that it was unsafe for me to take him for walks or even to the vet. In the house, he was often unable to contain his energy when visitors came. He might sit, but that never lasted more than a few seconds. Now, not only can I walk him on a leash with no pulling and lunging, I can walk him unleashed, and he stays right with me. He is well behaved and responds to his commands, but he has lost none of his goofy personality. Lora spoke with me at length about my goals for Ziggy and explained how her training methods would address each of them. She answered all of my upfront questions, and any questions I had during training. In addition, she consistently sent video and written progress updates every other day. She concluded by spending hours at my house demonstrating how she worked with Ziggy so I could maintain all his training. During that time, it was clear that he had not only mastered all the goals I had for him but that he loved being with her.

I cannot believe the incredible results, that we saw in our sweet Teddy! He used to be a nightmare to walk, could not be trusted off the leash, and taking him to the vet was pure torture (bc there were so many new friends to run over to in the waiting area). I was a tad scared, that he wouldn’t be his same happy-go-lucky self, when he returned from training…but I got the best version of my sweet goof ball back! I now walk him without issue, or fear that we’ll run into other dogs on our walk. We never need to have him on a leash around the yard (we can’t have a fence where we live). And, when we go to the vet, he calmly sits on the bench beside me, wagging his silly tail. Frankly, the training Morgan did with Teddy helped to improve our quality of life with him & every day is more enjoyable with our furry man. I cannot sing enough praises for these ladies!

Lora did a tremendous job training my two huskey puppies! She was great with communication and scheduling. Picked up my beautiful fur babies at my house and kept them while I was away on vacation. She kept me posted the whole time of their progress sending pictures and videos practically daily. Treated them each individually and worked on building confidence in the shy one and following commands in the head strong one. They learned to sit, lay down, stay in place and heal all within two weeks. I was shocked and amazed at their progress. She even came to the house to drop them off and give me and my kids instructions on how to continue their training. All of my expectations of the experience were exceeded!! Would highly recommend Winnabow K9 to anyone. And will be using her services again to learn off leash commands in the future. 😁
