We did the 2 week board and train and it was such an amazing experience! Morgan kept us updated nearly every day and exceeded any expectations I had! Our pup left really skittish and nervous and came home confident and playful with the ability to listen to commands and feel excited and proud of himself. She spent a lot of time ensuring I understood when it came time to teach me what she taught him and was really thorough with her explanations. I can’t say enough good things about Winnabow!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Lora! When I needed both a place to board my adorable-yet-chaotic hurricane of a puppy while I traveled, and desperate help transitioning the manners he had in the controlled environment at home into reliable, real world skills, I couldn’t have landed on a better option than Winnabow. Lora was wonderful to work with, she adapted her 3 week off leash program to fit some of our unique needs, and helped turn this sweet but overly excited little man into a dog that is a joy to take with me wherever I go. We just finished a RELAXING walk down the greenway, no worries of him pulling on the leash, jumping on strangers, barking at other dogs and so many other undesirable behaviors that used to dampen our time out and about. The bond I’m building with my pup is growing even stronger now that Lora has given us both the tools we need to communicate effectively with each other. He now gets to come more places with me (which we both love) and he’s more calm and confident when doing so. Sending Clifford to Winnabow for the 3 week off leash program laid the foundation to easily integrating him into all aspects of my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

I 100% recommend Lora without a doubt! She is very knowledgeable and understands all my dogs behaviors and needs! I adopted Luna from the shelter in June, she’s very sweet but I discovered she is very reactive and needs aggression therapy, I contacted Lora and I never felt judged because of Luna, I was comfortable with her immediately because of how kind, compassionate, loving and knowledgeable she is in all aspects! Luna came back a month later a completely different version of herself and I love it! She also came to my house twice to teach my husband and I the proper way to go about continuing training and I’ve never met someone that dedicated! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Absolutely 100% recommend to anyone needing dog training. Lora is so knowledgeable and incredibly kind. I adopted a 2 year old pit mix from the animal shelter that needed some SERIOUS manners, he boarded with her for 4 weeks and came back an absolute gentleman. She keeps you updated with tons of photos and videos so you can watch your pup’s progress. She really loves on your pet and treats them like her own.

This is an amazing place to send your dog. I have a Labrastaffy mix named Berkley. He is just now 1.5 and he was absolutely crazy when I first got him from Wake County Animal Shelter. I decided that as he got older and stronger his leash pulling would become a big problem. I started looking into different training programs and went to various websites until I came across Winnabow K9. Lora had reached out to me with all the information about each of the programs she provided. I was able to chat with her back and forth and ask her all the questions that I had about training. Then I compared pricing and other components and decided to train with her. Berkley participated in the 3 week off leash program. It includes pick up and drop off the pup, training, housing, an exit bath, e-collar (valued at $220) and a short training session at the end. The only thing you need to provide is enough food for 3 weeks. This was the first time that I was going to be away from Berkley since I got him and was a little nervous. One thing that I took comfort in is that this is not a big training facility and Berkley would not just be another dog, but he would be shown love and have a fun time. Lora sent pictures of him throughout training and updates on how it was going. I loved the constant communication from start to end as well as the comfort of being able to reach back out if I have any questions. After she brought him back, I had a few issues with him and she came back and helped me navigate them. She explained that it is most likely from change of environment and to give it a couple days, and it worked itself out. Now I am able to take him more places without having to fight with him on leash. I can take him to dog parks to let his crazy out and am not worried about him not listening. Overall, this is an amazing experience for both you and your pup. After the training is done she gives you all the tools you need to maintain the training and skills learned. Now you and your pup can enjoy a move active lifestyle. I have nothing bad to say about this company. I am excited that it is growing!
