Wings & Whistles Dog Training & Boarding Facility

Rachel and the team have been a blessing to our household. Prior to training, we attempted many times to show boundaries of what was acceptable and what not. It was frustrating and we were mildly successful. Walks were painful, lots of pulling and tugging and since our dog is large, my 10 year old had difficulties controlling during walks. Had a neighbor who recommended Wings and Whistles, so I called Andrew and he helped me schedule obedience training. Enter Rachel who gave us a way to communicate with our dog and show the boundaries. It's a totally different experience having our pup now, all family members are able to walk our dog, he listens, he is more calm and sees us as a leader. I would highly recommend W&W; our dog is going back there for boarding.

Can't say nothing but great things about Wings and Whistles! I purposely held off on writing this review until middle of our first hunting season. When our 1 year old British labrador returned from the "fast start training course", he was a brand new dog. I was skeptical for how long he would act like this but after following Nick's advice (spend 10 to 15 minutes a day reinforcing what he learned there) our dog remains obedient. He's been great at home and amazing in the field for ducks/pheasants this year. Also a great place to board your dog while on vacation.

We had our 1 1/2 year old Golden Doodle (Rocky) at Wings & Whistles earlier this spring for general obedience and they did a great job. A few of my family members have sent their dogs to Wings & Whistles in the past for obedience/bird training and spoke highly of them. Before we sent Rocky he wouldn't come when called, constantly took food off the counter, stole our kids toys, and more. Rachel was able to get him back on track and did a great job of working with my wife and I. When Rocky came home we stuck to the plan and he is doing well. If you are reading this and are at wits end with your dog give Wings & Whistles a try. It made a huge difference in our lives and Rocky gets to be outside all the time now.
