Wilson's Dog Training

We searched for a place that could board and train our puppy who was suffering from separation anxiety each time we'd leave the room. We started looking for a trainer that could build his confidence and give him a good base in Chicago but most establishments were out of budget for us. Enter, Wilson's Dog Training (4 week board & train). The commutes to Cuba, IL really did pay off. It's amazing to see how our little puppy has matured so much. His exposure to other dogs and people have really improved his overall confidence and he doesn't cry anymore when we leave the room. The farm environment was another factor that played into our decision. Brian and Carla are very patient and kind, which is so important when puppy training. They kept us updated weekly with videos and texts of our puppy's progress but what I really loved is how they presented his progress to us during the in-person visits, where they supplied information on the do's and don'ts of puppy training and answered any questions we had. We do plan to keep re-enforcing what he has learned but are very appreciative for the great base he learned at Wilson's!

Wilson's dog training and boarding is excellent! My two dogs and I did the 4 week private lessons. I learned so much from Brian in those four weeks, and ended up with two well behaved dogs. My dogs have also been boarded there. They were well taken care of, they had outdoor play time, and I received pictures and videos of both of my dogs while I was away on vacation, which I really enjoyed receiving. I would highly recommend them!

The team at Wilson’s Dog Training is the best! They are extremely knowledgeable & patient with you & your dogs needs. We just completed the 4 week board & train with Tucker & cannot believe the difference in his behavior. He has proven to be a very teachable dog who is a joy to be around. The Wilson’s really care about what they do, gave routine updates with pictures, & offer guidance through each step. Highly recommend!!!
