Willis Wolfpack Dog Training

We had the best experience working with Willis Wolf Pack. Our pups completed the first two levels of training and we’ve seen a huge difference in their behavior and confidence. Joe was so patient with us and our dogs and was willing to tailor training to any specific concerns we had. We have tried several other trainers/training programs and none have worked as well as what we learned from Joe. Would absolutely recommend!

We had such a great experience working with Willis Wolfpack Dog Training. From the very beginning, Joe was patient, professional, and supportive with us and our dogs. He really took the time to help us understand that our behavior is the foundation for our dogs’ success. The training went beyond obedience by being more focused on creating calm, confident dogs who can go almost anywhere with us. Joe communicated clearly, sending us helpful information before our sessions so we could be prepared and then helped us put it in action when we met. Each session built a strong foundation for the next and was adapted to our specific needs rather than a one-size-fits-all. One of our dogs struggled with separation anxiety and sensitivity to outdoor noises. Joe gave us practical tools that helped her feel more confident. Thank you, Joe! On October 11th, 2024 we attended our last training session with Willis Wolfpack at Lowe’s near valley view. Both of our dogs have anxiety when in crowds, loud noises, and vehicles. We had been working in the parking lot with the trainers and our dogs had on a pronged collar and shock collar. The task was to get them to walk into the store in the heel position without breaking it. Joe worked with Bentley outside with my wife while I was inside with my other dog and joes wife. Joe worked Bentley for 1.5 hours with the shock collar turned all the way up to 100 and the pronged collar on him. He cornered him and held him there until he urinated on himself from fear. When he finally came inside with Bentley and my wife he stated that “Bentley was stubborn and not ready for this environment.” We walked back outside and my wife started crying to me about how bad Joe was treating Bentley outside and she never wanted to see them again. Before we departed they went to take a picture of our dogs for their social media pages and Bentley wouldn’t sit where they wanted him to so Joe picked him up by the pronged collar twice and I confronted him saying it looked like he was choking him and not to do that. He stated it was “just pinching him.” When I went to take Bentleys collar off in the truck it was imbedded in his neck and covered in blood. I confronted Joe and asked why he was bleeding and all he could say was “we might of ripped out some hair.” I told him that was not true and that he was too rough with Bentley. We left and went to the EVS and they found 2nd degree burns on Bentleys neck and over 30 puncture wounds. The trainers reached out ONE time after the event and that was it. They are not certified and they do not care about the dog’s wellbeing.
