I would give Nancy ten stars if I could. She has worked with multiple dogs within my family, and when my rescue dog started having behavioral issues, I knew who I had to call. Our rescue German Shepherd mix had been barking, whining, and acting agitated constantly since we adopted her, and over three years, we thought we had tried everything: daycare, training, multiple walks a day, everything the trainers suggested. We called Nancy as a last resort before we rehomed her because we could not figure out what was wrong. Nancy agreed to help us right away. Within an hour of talking to us and reading our intake forms, Nancy (who is also licensed as a veterinary nurse) determined the problem was medical, not behavioral, and wrote a letter to our vet explaining what she saw. With that letter, our vet quickly figured out the problem: our dog Clara had had a recurrent, undiagnosed UTI. After much-needed surgery and pain management, Clara became the dog we had dreamed about owning. We would call Nancy again in a heartbeat for help with our pets. Her expertise is unparalleled, yet she is approachable and not condescending like some dog professionals are - she truly wants to help you and your furry friend. She is worth every penny. Near 4 years ago, we rescued a dog named Sushi. She came from a hoarding situation and had only been around a woman for her ~3 years of life. She would bark at me (the man in the house), wouldn’t allow me to walk her, or get near her. My wife was her person (still is). But several trainers and no progress. Then we found Nancy. She turned everything we thought we should be doing upside down. And we committed to her way. It was not easy, but IT WORKED. Today, Sushi is still anxious 😅 but we have a great relationship. Her behavior and approach toward me and men in general has improved LOTS. THANKS TO NANCY. if not for her, I most likely would’ve been forced to bring her back to the rescue - like all Sushi’s other siblings 😢 Sooo happy we stuck it out.

Nothing short of a miracle worker! First, I've owned dogs all my life. Multiple dogs and multiple dogs at once. The most was 5. I have 3 now. A 14 yo yellow lab. A 6 yo toy Aussie with lots of attitude and a soon 3 yo Cavapoo who may be crowned the worlds happiest dog until she wasn't. The Aussie and Cavapoo started aggressively fighting. I mean to the death fighting. I knew a dog trainer wasn't the answer and a quick google search got me to Nancy Williams. Even better that she lived nearby. I spent 2 hours talking to Nancy understanding and recognizing dog behavior and my dogs' trigger warnings. We met with her for a "therapy" session. She outfitted them properly with harnesses and muzzles, demonstrated training aids and enforced good behaviors. I did everything she told me to, because I couldn't bear the thought of continued living with the conflict or giving one of them up. This photo was taken less than a month later. Early intervention and not being afraid to seek help pays off!!! These 2 couldn't even be kept in the same room for 3 months! #miracleworker THANK YOU, NANCY!!!!

Nancy is the best! We brought our dog, Nemo, to her in desperation after trying unsuccessfully to eliminate several dangerous and bothersome behaviors through other training options. Nemo's grand size made it imperative that we get real help or get rid of our dog. To our wonder, Nancy was swiftly able to demonstrate to us Nemo's impressive "good dog" potential and set us on the path to being well equipped and happier dog parents! It has been several months since, and Nemo is now truly a most wonderful and enjoyable dog! We can take him most anywhere and he is so sweet and gentle. We had a great adventure last summer enjoying his celebrity status in Newfoundland! We are so grateful!

Our sweet Bichon, Daisy had become a demand barker. If we didn’t play catch with her she would bark nonstop. We tried everything. Our Vet recommended Nancy as someone who could help us. Nancy interviewed us, observed Daisy and gave recommendations. Within 24 hours the barking STOPPED. I called Nancy the next day. I couldn’t believe it.
