Wildrose Kennels

14 years ago I received my dog Hannah, from Wildrose. This has been, without any doubts, the greatest friend I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I dont consider her my dog. In the field, we are a team and both of us seem to know what the other is thinking at all times. At home, she is my best friend, and loves the whole family as if it were her own because it really is.... at 14, she still plays as if she were a puppy, but at the water's edge, she is all business... focused and with commitment, she has never failed a retrieve. But on the same note, at home she has never failed as a friend either. When I lost my wife last year to heart failure, Hannah was the only thing that got me through it. She knew what was happening and felt the pain i felt. This is the bond we have. Unfortunately last week i found out that i will be loosing my best friend to bone cancer. I dont know how I'll get through that one alone. I guess I'll have to rely on some pretty beautiful memories. I just wanted to reach out to Wildrose and thank them for the greatest gift in my entire life. I know breeding is important and i know training is vital, but how you pair a man and a dog for a perfect fit is truly amazing! Our bond is so close you would think we were soul mates.
