We were really disappointed with our experience. After submitting all required paperwork a week in advance and having multiple conversations, there was no indication that our dog’s behavior or training needs would be an issue. Concerns were only raised last minute, and the sudden change in plans came without clear explanation. We were upfront about our dog’s behaviors and listed everything honestly. Had we known earlier what wouldn’t be acceptable or addressable, we would have made different decisions. Communication around vaccine requirements was especially frustrating. Their own documentation clearly states that any vaccines not covered by our vet would be administered upon arrival—yet we were told otherwise last minute over the phone and given inconsistent and vague reasons as to why we would no longer be accepted into the program. It felt like we were being given excuses rather than clear, direct answers. That said, we do appreciate that we were not charged upfront, especially given that we were traveling from out-of-state. We’ll be seeking training support elsewhere.
