Wild River Kennels

Before our dog Tucker began his training at Wild River Kennels, we struggled significantly with his obedience. He often ignored commands, wouldn’t come when called, and would run off when not on a leash. After spending a month training with Chris, we now have a confident and well-behaved dog. Chris worked with us after Tucker came home, providing us with techniques and the philosophy behind his training. Today, we can walk Tucker off-leash, enjoy hikes with both of our dogs and feel confident that he will come when called and be manageable. We work with Tucker every day to ensure he retains his training. He is still a goofball, but we now feel much more confident in his behavior. I recommend Wild River Kennels and Chris to anyone seeking good dog training experience.

Wild River Kennels is by far the best place to bring your pup! We dropped off our Titan boy November 27th and he stayed and worked the 4 week basic obedience/on and off leash training program! We just picked up our baby today & wow what a difference! He has such wonderful leash manners & he is on point with his commands! We will 100% continue coming to wild river kennels whether it’s for boarding, continued training and even doggy daycare! Thank you to Chris and Kiira! We brought our seven month old German shorthair pointer for obedience training. He had some basic commands but struggled with counter surfing, jumping on people and he couldn’t settle down and stay down when needed. After three weeks at Wild River Kennel, Walter is a pro at “place” and “down” - he can stay put while we have work done in our house without trying to run after the workers! His recall is terrific and we feel confident taking him places with us. We love letting him run free at friends’ houses and going to Grandma’s house for dinner where he will stay in a “place” while we eat. I cannot say enough good things about the work that WRK does. We are thrilled with Walter’s training and recommend WRK to anyone with a GSP.

I am so grateful to have found Wild River Kennels! Kiira answers so quickly an is so eager to have my pups for daycare. We sent our 6 month old husky for two and a half weeks for training and she did AWESOME! Kiira seriously helped us tremendously! We can bring our dog off leash(never thought we would be able to), she has amazing recall that she did not before, and even though she is still very vocal and spunky, she has a more calming demeanor. The girls literally trample over me to get out of the car when we pull up, I recommend this kennel to anyone!
