Wild Dogs

Morgan is amazing! I have a 10yo chocolate lab (Remi), who is a leash puller and although she’s very friendly she is reactive when on leash. After recently moving to Austin and seeing how dog friendly it is I realized I needed to get her some training so that I could take her out and about without the stress of running into other dogs or constantly being pulled. After lots of research I reached out to Morgan and we set up a phone consultation. We decided that the best option would be private lessons so I booked the package of 5 and I kid you not, BEST purchase! We did 4 sessions at her property working on various skills/commands that were most important to me and our last session took place around a dog park. During each session Morgan would explain the whys while showing me the how and then would have me perform the exercise while ensuring I was doing it correctly. Morgan also took the time to explain the different corrective methods she uses and helped myth bust the prong collar and ecollar. With the commands and practices that Morgan taught us each week plus us practicing those on our own between sessions (this is key) we are now able to go on walks with ZERO pulling, go to farmers markets with little to no reactivity, and just overall go on outings with zero stress. After 10 years of my pup doing things her way and building habits, I wasn’t sure 5 lessons would be enough or what progress we’d walk away with but Morgan surpassed my expectations. Remi is like a completely different dog. If you’re on the fence about training reach out to Morgan! She’s amazing to work with and you won’t be disappointed. I can’t recommend her enough!

I can’t say enough about Wild Dogs. Both of my dogs went through training with Morgan. We did a board and train for one dog and private one on one sessions for our other dog. Training doesn’t stop there, we send both dogs whenever we’re out of town and they get a refresh on training, she also hosts so many different event where we have the opportunity to continue training in a safe space. Morgan is extremely knowledgeable and I could not recommend her enough.
