FirstBarkAbsolutely positively AWESOME experience for my 2yr old pup for confidence building. I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience. My pup stayed 3 weeks. After 2 weeks I went in for a training lesson w my boy…..to see him willingly walk away from me to go with the trainer was bittersweet, but, let me know how well he was bonding too.

We specialize in behavior modification, this includes aggression, fear, and anxiety. Since there are a lot of factors that play into a dog's behavior, we ask that you contact us to set up an evaluation so we can meet and discuss in detail about what's going on.

What are the differences between your training programs such as private lessons, group classes, board and trains, etc.?
The biggest difference between our different training programs is that amount of time we get spend with you and your dog. Board and trains gives us the most time to get to know your dog and you, so we can create a learning environment that not only helps your dog make lasting associations but also is easier for you to integrate your pup into your lifestyle. Private lessons and Group Classes limits our time together, allowing us to focus on teaching you, but not giving us enough time to be hands on with your dog. Each style of training has their positives and negatives, we suggest setting up an evaluation so we can discuss what would be the better fit for you and your pup.

Do you offer puppy training? If so, what style of training do you offer?
We do offer puppy training services for all puppies that are current on their vaccinations that is appropriate for their age. Our puppy services include our 3 private lessons package, Basic puppy board and train, AKC STAR Puppy class, and our Premium board and train. Why should we choose you over another training company?
We approach training from your dog's point of view and share that insight with their owners. Emphasizing on how your dog feels and how to create motivation to work with you, creating training that lasts without the reliance of food and training tools and a much happier dog and human. Education, trust, and guidance is what we base our principals on as it has served us well for over 5+ years. We are in good standing with International Association of Canine Professionals, American Kennel Club, and Better Business Bureau. As well we have completed a number of educational schools and courses. Since we believe heavily in owner education, all training programs comes with a written training booklet by us, membership to our monthly group walks, and access to our online video library. Supporting you and your dog on your training journey is what we pride ourselves on no matter where you are starting.

We could not be happier with Wild Child. The staff is simply incredible. The change in our puppy is incredible. The only chance of failure is if we’re not consistent. We were given all the tools needed and can get help anytime we need it. Loving, caring and very professional! I highly recommend!
Thank you Wild Child for treating Gunner like he was your own. Carma did very well with my pup! He went from not staying on the property even if calling his name multiple times to sitting beside me without a leash. Would 100% recommend Wild Child for any of your pups needs.

We chose Wild Child based on a referral from a friend that had wonderful results with her fur child. From the first phone consultation, I had a very positive feeling. Our Daisy is an 11 month old smart and rambunctious Pointer. We needed help to be able to understand her needs and energy to make her a lifelong enjoyable family member. Her trainer, Kara was amazing! She tailors her training based on the individual needs and mind of each breed and truly understands the psychology of each breed. She is energetic and very passionate about the work she does. We primarily needed help with Daisy pulling on the leash and making each walk less than enjoyable, coming when called, greeting other dogs and people calmly, and fence escaping. We now have such a well behaved and happy girl that is enjoyable to take out in public and is safer now that she comes when called. The facility is safe and clean with huge areas for the dogs enjoy and just be dogs. They make time for play and relaxation each day. Daisy had the best time there and I was honestly afraid that she would be disappointed to come home. Thankfully she adjusted just fine upon returning home. ❤️🐾 We did the 5 week board and train and I would absolutely do it again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We worked with Sydney at Wild Child Dog Training for one-on-one lessons to help our fear-reactive Great Dane, Eames, and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Sydney does an amazing job explaining the why behind the behavior, which really helped us understand our pup better. While Eames has always been great with obedience, his reactivity around other dogs and some children has been a challenge. Thanks to Sydney’s tailored approach and the homework she provided, we’ve already seen real progress! Her training is not a one-size-fits-all solution—she took the time to understand Eames’ specific needs and also equipped us with the knowledge to continue helping him build confidence. If you’re looking for a dog trainer who truly cares and makes the process manageable and effective, we highly recommend Wild Child Dog Training! 🐾
