About Wild Acre Kennels
Dog Training and Boarding Offering Minnesota's premier hunting dog training and boarding. From 2-week to 12-week training courses, we offer hunting dog training programs for every skill level and need. Additionally we offer obedience training for all dogs. Your dog will learn basic commands, gun training, e-collar training, field training, and waterfowl training with us. We also offer specialty training such as shed, pointer and water training. From puppies to mature dogs we will train your dog to be a great companion! We also offer short-term and long-term boarding, full service dog spa and we breed Labrador Retrievers. Located just south of Minneapolis and Saint Paul about an hour, Wild Acre Kennels is your dogs home away from home!

Picked up my dog today and very happy with the results! They were very kind, helpful, and great with our dog. He was spot on when I picked him up. I would definitely recommend Wild Acre Kennels for your dog.
Took my two year old Vizsla and a Weimaraner in for boot camp, results are exactly what I hoped for. Each dog still has his own unique personality and now they are well-behaved! My Weim has severe separation anxiety but he made it and is doing great. My Vizsla was terrible at recall and now seems to get it. I would go back to Andrew again.

Lucy did obedience and gun/bird training and the results are spectacular. Once you have a dog trained by Andrew at Wild Acre Kennels, you'll never regret it! We enjoy work and play with Lucy even more after we got her back. Andrew stands by his word, will retrain if skills are lost/dulled, and is about as genuine a person as you'll ever find. Don't wait... get your dog trained at Wild Acre Kennels and you will have years of enjoyment with your dog. I highly recommend Andrew and Wild Acre Kennels!

Andrew does an amazing job! Had a gun shy Springer Spaniel who was ruined by my children from playing fetch to rather a game of chase the dog. He was able to get through both those barriers and now I have a great hunting partner. Through the whole process he communicates with you the progressions your dog is making, and emails you videos of your dog in action along with posting your puppy on Facebook. He even set up a time for us to Facetime our dog. It was great. Couldn't say nothing but High Marks about Andrews operation. Your dog will be ready for land and sea after Andrew whispers in his ear!
