About Wild Acre Kennels
Dog Training and Boarding Offering Minnesota's premier hunting dog training and boarding. From 2-week to 12-week training courses, we offer hunting dog training programs for every skill level and need. Additionally we offer obedience training for all dogs. Your dog will learn basic commands, gun training, e-collar training, field training, and waterfowl training with us. We also offer specialty training such as shed, pointer and water training. From puppies to mature dogs we will train your dog to be a great companion! We also offer short-term and long-term boarding, full service dog spa and we breed Labrador Retrievers. Located just south of Minneapolis and Saint Paul about an hour, Wild Acre Kennels is your dogs home away from home!

We brought our 11 month old lab puppy Maverick for obedience training and couldn’t be happier with the results. He used to pull so bad on the leash when we tried to walk him that we just kind of gave up on trying, but now after working with Andrew he stays right by our side and the walks are actually enjoyable. I’d give five stars just for that alone, but the fact he’s now also trained off the leash and we’ve been able to have him run around the park and know he comes over to us when we call him is awesome. Would definitely recommend bringing your dog here if you’re looking for good training.
Can’t recommend this place enough! They made everything super simple and we were so impressed with Brooks and how well she listens to commands now. Andrew made everything super simple for us to follow and we will recommend them for anyone in the future!
They seem to know what they are doing. Very responsive with questions. Our dog is in training right now with them and so far so good. Would recommend them to my friends and family. Update. My dog was set up for everyday life and for hunting. He did great this fall and would suggest them to anyone.
Sent my golden retriever to the intro to gun and then the intermediate program and I couldn't be happier. Would recommend sending your future hunting dog to this kennel for a beast in the field or water.
