I adopted my pitbull/boxer mix Hudson when he was about 5 months old. Now that he is 1 year old he had developed some bad manners and bad habits. It got to the point where I didn't even want to walk him or take him anywhere because he wanted to play and jump all over other dogs. This was very frustrating to me because we are always outside. He would jump up on people when greeting them. He had one incident at a dog park where he went after another little dog which scared me and I felt I had no control. After researching dog training in the san diego area, I found James. I can't express how thankful I am for finding who's walking who. We did the 4 training sessions, and after the first session he was a new dog. We just finished our last training session and he is so much happier and content now that he has structure! We walk on the boardwalk which is full of other dogs, people, bikes, skateboards, etc and he is doing so great! Other people walking by even comment on how well behaved he is :) What a difference James has made in our lives. I'm so much happier and so is Hudson. He now looks to me for direction instead of doing whatever he wants to do (like chasing little dogs) If you have a dog, James is the best person to train both you and your dog. He is kind and very informative oh and he loves the dogs!

James is amazing! He literally saved our dog from being owned by another family- we almost gave him away. We got a puppy and didn't realize the stubbornness of the breed we got- jack Russell- and after he ate our furniture, peed everywhere, wouldn't listen, knocked over our 1.5 yr old, jumped up on everyone, barked at all dogs he came in contact with, freaked in the crate, barked in the crate- We were ready to give him away. We called James and he taught us some proper training techniques and helped us train our dog- he mostly trained us- our dog is a great dog now. People are constantly asking us what kind of dog he is and can't believe he is so "mellow" for being a jack Russell. I, of course, instantly accredit James for his mad skills, ease of use- he comes to you and his way with dogs. He also took Hub in for 2 weeks for a board and train and when he came home- he was socialized with all kinds of dogs and we can go anywhere and hub is great with all dogs now. No small dog complex for our 15 pound pup. James saved our dog and us!!! Hire this guy! You will not be disappointed. Oh and he is really nice- a total bonus.

We are astounded by the turnaround in Roxy, our 10(?) year old "rescue" dog. We've had her for 5 years, and up until 3 months ago she was a rural dog. The closest people and dogs were a half mile down the road. We simply ignored / worked around her behavioral problems. That's all changed now that we are living in close proximity to the other 50,000 people in our new community. Roxy's socialization to people, dogs, and even us was an immediate requirement. James of Who's Walking Who to the rescue. He convinced us that we could succeed even with an old curmudgeon like Roxy. Luckily, Roxy took to the training like a duck to water, as did we. We've tried reward-based training with her before but did not succeed. The E-Collar approach seems to be a better fit both for Roxy and for us too. We saw improvement after just the first session. Roxy's demotion from alpha dog was apparently a great relief to her. After two or three sessions she was off-leash in the local dog park, interacting normally with other dogs and people. Wow! With this kind of immediate improvement your feel confident that the training is working and that it's something you are going to be able to stick with. Top marks to Who's Walking Who. You get your money's worth!
