Whitewater Retrievers

We brought our six month golden retriever to Whitewater for obedience training. The first thing we noticed when we drove up, was how well kept the facility was. When we went inside, the place was very clean you would never know they trained dogs in there, no dog hair, no smell. Rob is very personable, and you can tell very fond of all the dogs. We received weekly videos showing Archie’s training and the improvement from week to week was unbelievable. When we picked Archie up at the end of week three Rob spent an hour training us on the commands to ensure that Archie continued to remain obedient. Rob emphasized positive reinforcement and minor corrections make for the best outcome. We couldn’t be more pleased with how well he is listening, and following our commands. We are super grateful to Rob And his expertise, compassion, and patience with the dogs. Would highly recommend white water to anyone!

I brought my 6 month on lab/st. Bernard to Rob for training after hearing how wonderful of a job he did for a lady I knows 4 dogs. And she was right, 100 percent correct. He did a great job and with working with dogs myself I get how stressed and anxious dogs can be away from their people and I didn't see any of that there. All the dogs seemed content and happy and the place is very well kept. My dog performed great with Rob, seemed to be very comfortable with him, and was happy and excited to see him and show off his new skills with him to my family and I. I am very grateful for his training, he's much more likable and everyone who has came in contact with him is amazed at how well behaved he is.

Rob did an outstanding job with our 6 month old golden retriever Rhett. Rhett was shy and timid when we dropped him off and Rob did an outstanding job of training him with positive reinforcement. Since picking up Rhett we have seen a boost in confidence in Rhett as well as increased obedient behavior. Rhett was also sent to Rob for the intro to bird and gun training. Rob sent multiple updates showing how he slowly progressed Rhett in the training and it paid off. Rob allowed us to watch his training the day we picked him up and you could see how much Rhett went from being shy and timid when we dropped him off to being confident in the field and enjoying what he loves. End of the day you can tell how much Rob cares for all of the dogs he trains and I would recommend him to any dog owner that I know.
