Whistling Wings Kennels

Jeremy and his staff worked with my 4yr old rescue dog, Leo, for several weeks. I adopted Leo about a year before taking him to Whistling Wings and he was extremely anxious all the time (even when just hanging out at home) and traumatized from an attack by another dog. He could not be around other dogs AT ALL, which made our walks around the neighborhood very stressful for both of us. After his time at Whistling Wings, he is like a completely different dog! He's so much happier and relaxed, and has learned to co-exist with other dogs. He even has a couple of dog friends he plays with! In addition to Leo needing training, I needed training as his owner as well. Jeremy did an amazing job helping me learn the skills I needed to help Leo maintain his training once I brought him home from Whistling Wings. While Leo was at Whistling Wings, Jeremy and his trainers were always very prompt in response to me checking in, always provided updates and pictures/videos of his progress, and were very welcoming to visits from owners. Overall, working with Whistling Wings was a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend them enough!

Working with the owner and staff at Whistling Wings has been a wonderful experience! My son & I started researching kennels and training facilities for our son’s “gun” dog over a year ago. Whistling Wings seemed a perfect fit and it has been! The owner lives on the property and if he doesn’t do all the training, he closely supervises. He really knows what he is talking about and his employees, many of whom are family, are equally knowledgeable and caring. My son had such a great result with his Boykin Spaniel, my daughter brought her “new” dog, a three year old rescue, to see Jeremy. This dog was a bundle of anxiety and nerves through no fault of his own. He is like a totally different dog, much happier and a great companion. With both kids, we learned a large part of the process is understanding the owner. My adult kids have very different personalities and Jeremy tailored his approach to optimize the training for both kids and two very different dogs! I highly recommended Whistling Wings whether you are looking for a well behaved companion or a skilled hunting companion!
