Whispering Oaks AKC DOG TRAINING

Our 8 month old puppy Trooper was out of control. A sweet boy but he was determined to be the one in charge. Our life was ruled by him. We couldn't go anywhere as he hated his crate so much and would bark incessantly. He jumped up and down like a kangaroo on everyone.. When I walked him he would grab the leash and drag me down the street. We couldnt leave him unattended as he would chew everything. We were desperate. I looked around and found Whispering Oaks, watched their videos and read all the reviews. I called Mike and he told me to bring him right over. It was hard leaving him there for three weeks but we powered through and were determined to not pick him up early. We were sent videos of his training which were great to see. When we went for our own training session I couldn't believe it, he was like a new dog. He sat, he lay down, he walked on leash, he wasn't distracted, he was great in the crate. We have followed all the training we were given since we came home and Trooper is a joy to be around. He's happy, we're happy and when we take him out everyone comments on how well behaved Trooper is. We were worried that the training would break his fun loving spirit but no he is still the same dog but he knows his place in the family now. I could not recommend this training more, we are so thankful to everyone at Whispering Oaks for restoring peace and sanity to our home. Trooper says thanks too

They say that you can't teach old dogs new tricks so I was truly afraid that we were too far gone with our loving but feral goldendoodle. To no fault of her own and my lack of education on my end, we had a rough first five years. Feeling very defeated, I began searching for a solution that would not only improve our family life but ultimately our Margeaux' life without depleting her fun spirit that we love so much about her. She spent 21 days in the board + train program and I am tearing up as I write this because I am truly grateful for the time and dedication to the program that is spent. We were sent videos every 7 days showing our happy girl and her progress. Cara Ann was absolutely amazing in the turnover and made sure we felt confident in the commands and training before taking our newly reformed girl home. Margeaux who had terrible anxiety (in and out of the crate), daily multiple potty accidents in house, and could not be walked on the leash is the same 5 year old goldendoodle now sleeping like a babe in her crate, listens in all areas of distraction, can go to stores with us, and stays right beside me on AND off leash, AND **drum roll please** has been accident free in our brand new home since we picked her up. I am very thankful for Whispering Oaks and will forever recommend them to anyone looking to not only train their dogs but willing to be educated themselves to create a better life for all involved. Worth every penny!

We brought our 10 month old goldendoodle to Whispering Oaks for the 21 day board and train. I was very hesitant on selecting a trainer who was just the right fit for our dog and our family. We heard about Whispering Oaks through a friend of a friend who had trained two dogs here. We spoke with her and sat in on a turnover day with another family's dog prior to bringing ours. We are so incredibly pleased with the entire process- from answering our questions, to how well our dog was trained, to training us and our 3 kids, follow up support and the genuinely kind, and knowledgeable team they have in place! We made excuses for months as he was just doing "puppy things"- jumping, nipping, counter surfing and only listening 50% of the time, etc, feeling like with enough repetition, we could train him on our own. Having a new dog was creating stress at home, it was work to take him out to kids sports, on walks, to visit family, etc. Since training, he has completely transformed into a calm, well-mannered dog and we now feel like we can fully enjoy every moment with him! I was concerned about the training being "too strict" or him losing his playful personality and that has not been the case at all. He has been home from training for about 6 weeks and we all couldn't be happier. We have been out to soccer and baseball games, outdoor shopping and restaurant complexes that are pleasant outings- with people even commenting on how well behaved he is! I cannot recommend Whispering Oaks dog training enough! Thank you for bringing the peace back to our home and giving Indy (and us) all of the tools to be able to enjoy each other to the fullest!

Whispering Oaks was wonderful! We left our WILD Golden Retriever there for their 21 day board training. They sent us pictures and updates on his progress while he was there. They also did a train the trainer session when we picked him up so that we felt confident and equipped to continue his training. Our GR was night and day! We could not believe this was the same dog we dropped off 3 weeks ago. It’s has been over a month since we’ve had him home and we have kept up with his commands and he is still doing great! Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I were amazed what 21 days of dog training at Whispering Oaks can do to a dog. Duke was a wild and rambunctious dog. We thought he was incapable of learning. Taking him to Whispering Oaks was last ditch effort to live with a dog that seemed hopelessly untrainable. Whispering Oaks changed our minds. Duke’s voracious appetite to jumps on people is no more, he follows the commands given with little to no error. He is simply a new dog. One we are excited to have.
