FirstBarkOur dog loves going to Wheatland Dog Center for boarding! Kayla is very responsive, easy to schedule with, and sends updates as needed while we are traveling. I love knowing our dog is safe, well cared for, and having lots of fun without us! He always comes home happy and exhausted (in a good way!). I recommend to everyone!

About Wheatland Dog Center
Wheatland Dog Center in Derby, KS is a small, specialized dog training and boarding facility on a 20 acre farm that focuses on sending your dog home happier and healthier than when they arrived. The Dream Dog Program is customized for each dog to build a foundation of obedience and address unwanted behaviors. Our Puppy Raising program helps new puppies start on the path to becoming well-behaved, happy dogs, with two or more weeks of being raised and trained in our home. Daily activities and individualized attention from our experienced professional trainer ensures dogs have their emotional and physical needs met with low stress and anxiety levels. The best trainer we’ve worked with in Wichita. We’ve loved working with them so much now we board the dogs with them whenever we leave town. You can see how excited our dogs are when Kayla pulls up to the house for training or when we pull up to their place to drop off for boarding. They’re the best!
It has been some years since our Greta stayed and trained with Kayla. Kayla took this rowdy girl and taught her lessons and commands that she still practices to this day. Amazing trainer

I don’t feel there is enough words to explain how patient, informative, kind, and caring of dog and owners needs. If it wasn’t for her helping my husband train our German shepherd I’d probably gone crazy by now because I have an already crazy household. I feel so blessed to have come across her such a blessing and forever grateful ❤️

My wife and I were looking for a lab after we had to put our family dog down. My wife called Kayla and asked about one of her labs. Kayla recommended a different puppy that would meet our needs. We wanted a family dog and thats exactly what we got. My wife does extensive research on almost everything she buys. We felt very comfortable after she sent videos or the labs. We talked a few more times before going to pick up our new puppy, Ranger. All paperwork was ready at pick up and no hidden things to worry about. Kayla does puppy training and boarding. We had a great time on our trip knowing that Ranger was in great hands. We even received videos of Ranger on YouTube. Kayla is an amazing breeder. We would highly recommend her.
