FirstBarkwonderful experience!! kayla is kind and experienced. she helped me with my dog when he was reactive (after being in an abusive home) and no one else was willing to help! my dog now is able to be around other dogs and other triggers without freaking out!

Wheatland Dog Center in Derby, KS is a small, specialized dog training and boarding facility on a 20 acre farm that focuses on sending your dog home happier and healthier than when they arrived. The Dream Dog Program is customized for each dog to build a foundation of obedience and address unwanted behaviors. Our Puppy Raising program helps new puppies start on the path to becoming well-behaved, happy dogs, with two or more weeks of being raised and trained in our home. Daily activities and individualized attention from our experienced professional trainer ensures dogs have their emotional and physical needs met with low stress and anxiety levels. Wheatland Dog Center is a great place to board your dog! Kayla is amazing at keeping in contact with your during your dog’s stay. Her boarding space is awesome with lots of space for the dogs staying with her. She is also a very reasonable price for more hands on dog boarding.
We have taken our Chocolate Labrador to Kayla since he was a puppy! She takes such great care of him while we are out of town and he is always excited when we drop him off. Kayla is easy to communicate with and is very helpful with training tips, even when I text her out of the blue with a question! We love taking Teddy to Wheatland Dog Center and appreciate everything Kayla has done to help us!
Kayla is always fantastic to work with. She expertly trained our yellow lab puppy and takes great care of her when we need to kennel her for a day or a week. Wheatland Dog Center will always be our "Go To" when it comes to our dog training, and kenneling needs.
Fantastic place to board your furry family members! We used Wheatland dog center to board our dogs while on vacation. Great communication and simply put a worry free environment. Lots of space to run and explore. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our pets were well taken care of. Highly recommend!
