There aren’t enough stars for Amanda’s knowledge, enthusiasm & effectiveness. I met her a few years ago when my black lab was pinning a friend of mine’s dog. She gave me the tools to encourage positive behavior towards the other dog and they became best friends surprisingly quickly! When I ran across another that Pax didn’t like, I went back to Amanda and once again, she is working miracles. Does it take effort as an owner to follow throw on strategies and exercises? Yes, but they’re so effective & SO worth it. Purely positive reinforcement at its best. Thank you, Amanda, for your knowledge and the faith you have in me and Pax!

This trainer had good reviews but wasn't able to accommodate my request to pay for one training before committing $380 for four additional training appointments. She was also hard to reach. No phone number given on her website or via email. Im not willing to pay in advance for multiple training sessions before meeting a person and seeing how she interacts with our dog. Huge disappointment because we had exchanged multiple emails before. Its her loss and I'm moving on.

We initially reached out to Amanda Dwyer when our dog started displaying signs of confinement and separation anxiety. Create training had gone well for 11 months and then something must have happened while we were not home. Either a noise made him anxious or something and he stopped wanting to go in his great all together. The last time in his crate he drooled a lake and scratched at the hard plastic trying to get out. We started separation anxiety training with Amanda leaving for 22 seconds and in 4 months we are now at 1 hour and 15 minutes. We are heading quickly towards getting our lives back while also helping our dog be confident he can handle us leaving and get some needed sleep. We also reached out to Amanda for some training around anxiety triggers, mainly children and erratically moving people and objects. Her techniques were easy to implement and or dog responded right away. We've had dogs before but this cutie is a little more challenging and Amanda have us invaluable tools to help us and our pup. I highly recommend her especially if you have a reactive dog!
