I saw Juan’s truck drive by me on us1 one day and decided to give the kennel a call to help with my dog Rocko’s behavior. Melissa was attentive to setup an evaluation which was free, come up with an approximation on how long it would take to train Rocko, the entire staff was friendly and seem to really care. I can now enjoy walks with Rocko on south beach every evening and will definitely use them when I travel for over night stay in future !!

If you are looking for a family friendly place to train your dog, well you found your place. Westgate K-9 Academy was a God sent to my dog referred by our vet and obedience trainer. He needed a behavioral training because he was becoming reactive and I can’t say enough how happy we are with the change in our dog. Our dog was boarded for almost 4 weeks and trained by Marcos and other staff. They did a phenomenal job! The dogs on site were well taken care of, fed, walked, and loved by everyone that works there. I would call every day and Juan, the owner, would always answer and give me daily updates on our fur baby. I highly recommend this location if you are looking to train a dog. They do protective training as well and so much more. The property is also very clean and so are the large cages that the dogs stay in. My dog is an indoor dog and he was so happy there. There is a caretaker on site and yes the dogs may bark because dogs will be dogs at the end of day. I will continue to work with Westgate K-9 Academy and hands down leave my dog in boarding when needed and know that he is going to be loved just like if he was at home with me.
