West Palm Dog

I am SO happy that I found West Palm Dog. After doing weeks of research for good board and train programs, I was able to connect with Ben (one of the owners) -- who gave me the whole rundown of how West Palm Dog operates as well as their training philosophy. One amazing thing about this place is that unlike larger dog daycares/boarding facilities, it's not a big, massive warehouse or building -- it's run out of a home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There aren't 100 dogs running around -- they pride themselves on keeping smaller, controlled play groups so dogs can have more positive experiences. After bringing my dog (Lincoln) there for a week of daycare to get acquainted, he began the intensive 2 week board and train. I could not be happier with the results -- my pup (10 months old) came back home with more confidence, amazing leash etiquette, basic commands down pat and a calmness he hadn't had prior to the program. Trainers Caitlin and Patricia were pros with him -- sending videos on YouTube of his progress every night. The best part about the program is that during the 2 weeks, they have the owner come twice for lessons -- once after week one, and once upon pick-up. This helped build my confidence in training, as well (it was also so nice to be able to see my dog halfway through to see his progress IRL!). Importantly, the program is also $1K cheaper than most similar places. Post-board and train, I bring my dog there 1x a week for daycare and plan to bring him regularly for boarding when I am travelling. I highly, highly recommend West Palm Dog and couldn't say enough good things about all of their staff, ownership and etc. I am excited for their new location to open soon!

Hunter has been coming to West Palm Dog since he’s been about 5 months old. He will be 3 years old in May. Marti and Ben are absolutely a godsend. I have no idea what Hunter and I would do without them and their staff. They are so warm so genuine and so kind. You can clearly see how much they all love what they do and how much they care about the animals. The passion and dedication that they put into what they do is absolutely amazing. I cannot wait for them to open their new location so Hunter can have even more fun. Hunter goes there five days a week Monday through Friday from 7AM to 5PM. Hunter has worked with Ben, Marti, and a bunch of the trainers going towards becoming a service dog and getting CGC certified. As well as he’s done the board and train, private lessons, he’s even done obedience class. Hunter absolutely loves it there and loves playing with his best friends. This is the best place for dogs to be!!
