West Chester Dog Training

Joe is very knowledgeable and took the time to not only train our puppy but made sure we as puppy parents were efficient in our training skills as well. We could not recommend Joe enough! In just one session our new puppy had walked farther on a leash than we had ever walked her previously! She already has a better grasp on listening and following commands as well! Looking forward to the rest of our training sessions!

WOW! One week following our first training session with Joe and our 9 mo girl is loose leash walking like a champ! Prior to our session with Joe she was easily distracted, barking at any runner, cyclist or other dog within sight. Additionally, she has been much more attentive, eager to please and responsive. She has greatly improved and we are looking forward to our next session and working toward developing our young pup into a well mannered citizen!

Training with Joe is great, his approach to the getting everyone in the fam involved is fantastic. Joe has helped with an American Pocket Bully how is currently 9 month old, over our training time the key tactics and teachings he provided have been key for us to learn how to navigate having a puppy in the house. I have enjoyed having working with Joe and even referred someone to him because how our dog was behaving in public. Word of caution is simply know that the success of training your dog shows is going to be highly dependent on your ability to continue using the tools Joe provides

My intention in hiring Joe was to help with basic obedience for a new puppy that we adopted. Not only has the training been FANTASTIC for the new puppy but also for my senior dog who I was convinced was too set in her ways to be open to training. Traditionally my older dog Scout pulled on the leash, was reactive to dogs when we were out walking but with Joe’s techniques and in just two sessions I have BOTH dogs walking really well on the leash. My puppy Chip has responded well to the training and has taken to it really quickly. Another important fact is Joe takes the time to make sure EVERYONE in the family has the concepts down and mastered. It’s been awesome getting to see both of my dogs potential fully realized and I attribute a lot of the to Joe’s training and techniques. It doesn’t matter what age your dog is, Joe can get them to where they need to be! I highly recommend him as a dog trainer.
