FirstBarkJoe came to our home to help us guide our Beagle puppy’s behavior and in one session she was transformed from crazy to obedient. I can’t recommend Joe enough. Our first session with Joe was great! He quickly understood what Gracie (2 yr old Springer) needed to walk on the leash without pulling and helped immediately with her jumping to greet people. We highly recommend Joe and look forward to the next session

We adopted Bear 2 months ago at the age of 9 weeks and were interested in dog training when he was a bit older. We asked Joe what age he normally starts at and his response was 10 weeks, because we should start before any bad habits develop! This made perfect sense, so we started at roughly 12 weeks since this is when I located Joe’s info. As prior reviews state, I cannot emphasize enough how much the in person experience is worth. To see how Bear responds to him, and now us, is invaluable. It’s one thing to watch videos or read articles, but seeing this with your own eyes is really remarkable. Bear is very responsive and has learned a great deal. We couldn’t believe how great his leash walking was after only about 20 minutes! I’ll be honest, the puppy nipping is still a work in progress with me, because he’s not yet recognized me as a pack leader the way he does my husband. No issues with Dad, but when you hear that people need to be trained , that’s very true. My calm assertive still needs work! Our last session is today and we’ll miss Joe for sure. He’s worth every penny!!
My dog who I thought was just a stubborn dog set in his ways was like a different dog after the end of the first session. Walking near perfect on a leash, obeying commands and quieted down quickly when he would start barking. Very impressed!
