We found Joe at West Chester Dog Training while trying to find a trainer for our six year old dog. Although we thought our dog Zeus was very smart we had some issues, like when he would take off to the neighbors yards and when we called him he would just ignore us, when people would come to the door he would not listen he would bark and go crazy, walking on a leash if he saw a cat or squirrel he would pull so hard he was uncontrollable. Now within a few weeks of Joe Amick training him, oh and us too, he has turned into a well behaved and controllable dog that we can take places and greet people into our home without wondering what he will do. And the best thing he now comes when we call him. We think Joe is fantastic and we recommend him with great confidence.

We called Joe to help us with our 14week old GSD. She was awful on the leash and always nipping at us. After the first session the walks are going great. Our 9 yr old son is now walking her by himself.
We are able to control her much better and she now knows several commands. It’s a lot of work, but we will continue to use Joe for training and look forward to our next session!

We were having trouble managing our German Shepherd puppy and we knew we needed to call a professional. Joe has exceeded our expectations in training and gaining our dog's trust and respect. We are now able to enjoy our puppy and we have a much better relationship with her. We are able to walk her with ease and give basic commands within just a few sessions.

Had our 1st in home training session with West Chester Dog Training and could not be more pleased. Joe was extremely helpful in not only training our puppy but teaching us as owners. I look forward to the next class to learn more techniques. Would recommend to anyone!
