West Chester Dog Training

We had our first lesson with Joe today. And let me just say…WOW! We are amazed at how much was accomplished in just 2 hours…even the first hour! Walking our 8 month old Boxer/Pitt mix on a leash was starting to feel near impossible without one of us losing a shoulder due to his incessant pulling. Within 10…yes…10!! minutes of our walk, Joe had our boy walking WITHOUT pulling, right next to or behind us at all times AND my shoulder was intact!! 🙃 He also addressed going in and out of doors, counter surfing, and claiming space. All were issues we had asked him to help us with. Now to practice all the tactics he taught us. We are so happy we found Joe and cannot wait for our next session! Joe is the real MVP!!

Joe was recommended by a neighbor and my wife and I are so thrilled with the progress our 3 month old Berner has made with just one visit. Having a puppy, especially a puppy who will and is already growing into a very large pup requires getting into good habits and following a solid training plan sooner rather than later for both owner and dog. We cannot express the gratitude we have for Joe’s knowledge and expertise and him sharing that knowledge and expertise with us. Joe gives you the tools and the roadmap. If you use the tools and follow his roadmap, you will have a happy, content, and well adjusted dog and you as owners of your dog will truly be able to enjoy your pup.

Joe Amick changed my life! I have 2, 2 yr old Pitbulls who were running my house. I could get them to sit and down but not to stop jumping (They are 86 lbs and 70 lbs. ). when I got home from work. It was literally painful. And on walks they led me. 1 session with Joe at West Chester Dog training and they NO LONGER JUMP ON ME they go in the house and sit on their beds and wait for me to pet them. They now walk behind me and are so well behaved people are asking me how I did it!!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! The best program I have ever taken!!!!!!
