Are you able to potty train my dog? He’s six months old and we can’t let him on any beds or couches because he pees everywhere. Every time we get him a bed, he essentially uses it as a pee pad.
No, but you could do it if you either have him on a leash attached to YOU or in a kennel.

My boxer is one years old is it too late to get him trained?
LOL I adopted my boxer at 1.5 years YEARS AGO and we were traveling South America with the dolphin show. Then we spent 2+ years in Puerto Rico. I was training dolphin and sea lions and she was part of the show. Boxers love splashing water. She was also very good on obedience training. It is never too late to start training any dog.

I have been taking dogs to Wendy Jeffries dog training for over ten years. And I'm completely satisfied. I take my 6 year old Russian wolfhound to agility training every Monday evening at 6 pm. The dogs love it. They also learned a lot of things. You'll enjoy it, so will your dog.

Will he do all that without you showing him the treat? Petsmart is big on 'Lure and reward" aka BRIBERY TRAINING. Coming to classes at my facility would get him on reward based training but off 'Bribery'. We only produce the reward AFTER the dog offers a piece or the entire behavior we are training. They also get to proof their behaviors on some agility. They Come through the tunnel, Sit and Down on the table and learn they have rear legs and what to do with them to walk over all my weird stuff like a ladder on the ground and the agility equipment. I also do Rally classes for advance obedience if you think he is ready for off leash obedience and competition training.

I'm looking for someone who specializes in aggression issues. Our puppy is a 5 month old shepherd mix and is aggressive toward other dogs.
Wendy should be able to help you with your puppy. Give her a call and explain your situation. I know she has worked with aggressive dogs many times before
Can you choose what tricks you want your dog to learn or you guys train the basic tricks?
She has classes in basic obedience, agility, rally, canine good citizenship, therapy and service dog training. I believe she also can do private classes if you want something specific.

I was not impressed with Wendy's training methods. I have had the same breed of dogs for years and they are not an easy breed to train. I did not finish the training... the class dwindled after the first couple of weeks from about 15-20 to only about 2. I was one of those 2. It was great in the beginning for socialization purposes, but not for training purposes. I am sure that she was a great and good trainer at one time, but not so much now....

Do yourself a favor and save your money. You can get better instruction on YouTube for free. Her facility(a dirt field and a SMELLY barn) is dirty and not even sanitary enough for even a dog. Very unstructured class where you are pretty much on your own. I think she collects the money upfront on purpose so you can't walk out after you figure out you wasted your money. Beware, no refunds if you are not happy with the facility or the training. You can tell from her response that she is a liar and a hustler. I am not a dog trainer or competitor. I would not be directing you to free YouTube training tips. She is an outright lier by saying she has a big cool building and a clean facility. Go see for yourself or read the other reviews about the sanitary conditions.

Signed up for puppy time/classes they were totally mixed dogs of all ages from 6 months to 2-3 years old. Whole reason I went there was for puppy time socialize. Was pretty much kept in a corner and ignored. Plus she's not shy about running her mouth to insult your animal.

Wendy trailed our male silver poodle "Sukoshi" back in approx. 2005. Wendy was absolutely wonderful with him and really knows her field. We benefitted by having a fabulous life with our dog. He has passed over the Rainbow Bridge but we will never forget what an amazing sweet dog he was!
