We Keep Dogs

We recently adopted a dog that was untrained and a bit spoiled. James took the time to interview me and observe our dog's behavior. We discussed goals for his training and expectations of the behaviors that we want from him. James stressed that our behaviors would determine the long term effectiveness of the training. On "Graduation Day" James took us through the critical commands, leash cues and reinforcement techniques to keep our dog's attention and to establish who is in charge. I brought my dog here while I went on vacation. It was her first time being boarded and the staff made it very easy for us. They were very responsive and informative. They even sent an email update and text/picture upon request (I was nervous since it was her first time away). She stayed for 5 nights, had 3 days of daycare, and was groomed. She was very happy when I picked her up and I will definitely be bringing her back!
