Ward's Dog Training

My husband and I are currently participating in a group training class with our 5 month old Boston terrier - Ollie. The classes are a great way to bond with your dog (and your significant other). Justin keeps the classes interesting by adding in a variety of activities and a little bit of friendly competition from time to time. Ollie and I enjoy learning the "tricks" the most!! I find that the classes are a great way to SAFELY add in distractions or desensitize a dog that may be on the reactive side (Justin does this SEAMLESSLY). The classes also build your confidence and your dog's confidence. Justin does require a meeting with you and your dog before you can participate in the group class. I enjoyed watching Justin work with Ollie during this meeting. His approach is well rounded in my opinion. Ollie responds positively to working with Justin. During the group class, you do not get as much one on one time with Justin or his trainers, but they are available if you need help or have questions. I believe he is currently adding more trainers to the group sessions since they are so popular. Justin also provides doggie daycare/training 2 days a week for a reasonable price if you are currently training with him. This is great for socialization and a little extra training if your pup is having trouble. There are also pack walks for dogs who have trained with him. Lots of opportunities to continue your dog's training and be part of a like-minded community. I trust Justin, and so does my dog.
