Wags n Wisdom Dog Training

I can't speak highly enough about Lisa and Wags n Wisdom. They have been so helpful with me and my difficult puppy. They have gone above and beyond to help correct the issues and helping me to understand the best way to train and correct the adverse behaviors. My dog loves Lisa and is always eager to work with her as much as I do. I don't hesitate to recommend them to others who are seeking help with their dog. Lisa was great. We adopted our dog when she was already middle-aged, and overtime she was developing some fear reactive behaviors, lunging at people and dogs, etc. Lisa taught me that I was reading our girl's body language not the best way and not redirecting her well. The most valuable lesson we learned was playing "find it" by giving guests some of her kibble and if she so much as LOOKED at them they would throw her a treat on the ground away from them - so she could see they weren't so bad after all and keeping her snappy little mouth away from their hands. It made having my family over our house for wedding activities a lot better since they were 100% on board with getting our dog used to them first before doing much else in the house.

I am on my second dog training experience with Lisa at Wags n Wisdom Dog Training. I love that Lisa is very passionate about what she does. She really knows her stuff and is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge with people! She lives what she teaches in her classes. This lady is an animal lover and is all about what is best for the fur child of the family! I highly recommend Lisa! Her Private Lessons are incredible! You get more than your ever pay!

Lisa is amazing! I reached out for help with my 2 1/2 yr Morkie, Milo, thinking he needed training but quickly learned it was really me! I got Milo at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, so no socialization coupled with a new dog owner made for some badly needed training on both sides. Lisa’s clear communication and patience made this such a great experience. She came prepared and spent more than our allotted time didn’t rush, she has a wealth of knowledge and has a no nonsense compassionate approach to both your pet and you! She sends follow up material and assignments from her visits and makes herself available for questions outside of the training sessions. Are we done yet, no, but Milo and I are on our way to some positive changes for both of us. I will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you Lisa! FYI…he learns much quicker than I do😂🐶
