Primarily I focus on manners because People want a well mannered dog in public. I’m not so much about obedience, I like teaching how to have a relationship with my dog. After all we are already in charge of when they get to eat, when they get to potty, when they get to go outside, I figured the least I can do is teach people how they learn how they learn so We can communicate better to them what we want from them in our world of rules. Being a certified professional dog trainer, means that I have to have a certain amount of educational units every year in order to keep up my certification, so I’m up-to-date on the most recent scientific advancements and studies in dog training.

Traci has an unbelievable connection with dogs and their owners. She is knowledgeable about all aspects of training and constantly keeps herself up-to-date on new training ideas . My dog, Peach, and I went through her manners classes, her therapy dog classes, and her nosework classes. Each one a new and exciting experience for both of us! She was the one who sensed that Peach would make a good therapy dog; and she was right! Peach absolutely was meant to be a therapy dog with her calm and gentle spirit. If not for Traci, I never would have thought in that direction. Traci builds a bond with each and every one of her clients and their dogs, and I know she loves them all. Traci trains with respect, kindness and rewards ... You'll never hear a harsh word out of her mouth or a harsh punishment meted out to a dog. I highly recommend Traci and her reward-based method of training. I have had the pleasure of watching many of Traci's clients overnight at The Dog Ranch, and each and every one of them are perfect guests!
