I've been bringing my dogs to Voraussehen Kennels for years, for training and boarding. Mike and Starla always been wonderful with my fur babies. Recently brought in my very sweet - and very much out of control - 4 year old pitbull for training. Even though she's older, Mike was able to train her just as well as the pups I've brought over the years. He curbed her aggression towards other dogs and she actually listens now! I HIGHLY recommend them.

Despite being ultra picky, have to admit that this kennel, which is much more than that in my estimation, run by both Mike and Starla, a dynamic duo, is top tier. A wonderful “kennel” tucked away in the woods on a large property. My experience - I dropped my 2 dogs off for just a week for lodging only and immediately, upon picking them up, saw and felt the results: 1) My dogs are calmer. I didn’t even recognize them in the very first few seconds. They were happy to see me for sure but it was different, no desperation or anxiety if that makes sense like when I return to my apartment after work. After returning home from pickup, they were zonked out for the rest of the day. I would compare this to children returning from summer camp or the beach, wiped out. At Voraussehen, they are allowed to be dogs and they get it out of their system, a reset so to speak. I’m even considering doing this every year for a week just for this purpose. 2) The other amazing thing, is how connected my dogs were to Mike. My red alert dog was allowing him to pet her head and behind her head which SHE JUST DOESN’T ALLOW anyone but me to do. IAMSHOCKED! It was beautiful and uplifting. They are convenient and reliable – basically just gotta have bedding and food (and up to date vaccinations) and drop them off between 10a and 6p – ezpz, most accommodating. This ease is regardless of dogs behavior, they will take any dogs regardless of temperament and you will come back and find them better off than when you left them. I have some health issues and will be expecting surgery in the next few months. I will leave my dogs again with Voraussehen but for 4-8 weeks for both lodging and learning (obedience training) and will have every confidence in doing so. I simply can not praise them enough.
