My wife and I used this training since it was the highest rated in Brownsburg at the time. Since completing training (about a year ago now) our pup has been very well behaved with zero issues. A family member was watching the pup, leash slipped out of hand, and the dog ran off chasing something. She came right back after a couple recalls, leash dangling from collar. The training teaches the person how to train their dog and any future dogs. It is up to the person to train at home to fully master the skills taught here. We also boarded our dog after training and had zero issues. Our dog loved it and we would use this service again. 11/10 would recommend to all friends!

I can’t even express the great skill, passion that the Skillets have shown us at vonBernd training. They are amazing and have helped us train our cane corso. Our corso and my spouse bonded so much during and after the training. Our furbaby is the best combination of badass. Protector, love, gentleness. He is a leader for our furbaby family and has taught our other babies too. The skills we learned from Jake will carry on and we can’t be more thankful. We’ve never felt more honored to give him/ them the best review ever. And I swear our dog thinks he’s a doctor too cause he knows when we are not feeling well and also his fur friends. I’ve been taking various dogs here over the last two years. Each one has been treated as an individual with their abilities highlighted and their needs addressed. Jake trains the owner/handler as well as the dog so that you can continue helping your animal from home. Seeing a crazy German Shepherd puppy go from a jumping, barking mess to a girl who lays by my feet in public and doesn’t bark when the next dog comes in is a thrill! Jake is really great at relating to dogs AND people and you never hear his voice raised in class. He can tell you what your dog will excel at so you can concentrate on successes. I can highly recommend VonBernd for training any dog from a pet to a protection dog.
