Volancy Dogs

I highly recommend volancy dogs. We tried two other dog trainers and spent a lot of money with them and it didn’t work. After one session with Volancy Dogs my dog was not pulling on leash and was focused on me while walking. My dog would pull so bad on her leash to the point of pulling me with her. This training is amazing and would recommend it to everyone. Alyssa the trainer listened to all my concerns and is addressing them. She is an amazing trainer!!

We brought our 4 year old husky, Luna, to Volancy Dogs. Luna had already been with another trainer in the past, but even after multiple sessions, she was still awful on a leash. She pulled the entire time we would walk which made the whole thing unenjoyable for the both of us. After just one training session with Alyssa I was blown away with Luna's improvement walking on a leash without pulling. Alyssa was so knowledgeable and patient...not just with Luna, but with me. After a few sessions I could easily walk Luna without her pulling and without myself messing up the process. Alyssa also taught our girl (and me!) recall in just one session. I highly recommend bringing your dog to Volancy Dogs.....you won't be disappointed!!

Life changing and highly recommended! We adopted our puppy Kona from a rescue in July 2021. She was 8 weeks old and about 10lbs. I have two girls ages 7 and 3. From the start Kona was very very nippy and when she was little it wasn’t as much of a problem but she grew very quickly!! She was jumping and biting constantly and we tried everything that we could but nothing worked(positive reinforcement, redirecting her, watching YouTube videos etc.) Many people said she would “grow out of it” but I know that is not true! It got to the point where I had to completely separate my girls and Kona and there was never peace in my home! I tried to get rid of her energy by playing outside but that would only end in my ankles getting bit and having scratches all over me from Kona jumping on me. I couldn’t take much more! I wanted professional help but just couldn’t find anyone with availability or someone that was reasonable. One day everything changed! I met Alyssa and we dropped Kona off for her first session. When we picked her up I immediately noticed a change. When we arrived home things were better but we still needed more help. No dog is “trained” in one session! The next time we dropped Kona off for a one night board and train. Alyssa worked on walking/heeling and recall with Kona and she did amazing! They also worked on Kona staying in her “place” weather it be the crate or another spot in the house. Next we did a session at my house so that Alyssa could see Kona in her own environment and see the problem behaviors first hand. It was after this session that the biggest changes happened. There was no more biting and the jumping and other bad behavior was able to be controlled. I can finally have my girls and Kona all together and everyone is happy!! 😀😀😀 The last session we did at my house as well and we worked on walking and heeling on my busy street. I was terrified to walk Kona and she would pull constantly on the leash prior to this session but she did amazing!! We will continue to practice. Kona went from just knowing the “sit” and “down” command to now also knowing “leave it” “drop it” “come” “heel” “crate” and she responds to “no” if she’s doing something bad. Our next goal is to practice recall in a large open space with a long leash and off-leash. This is something totally new to me and I’m very excited! I will post again with any new updates! No matter what your needs are -from small issues to very big issues like I was having I cannot say enough good things about Alyssa! She is kind, patient, professional and does amazing work with dogs! She truly changed our lives!
